The Royal Chitwan National Park offers one of the finest wildlife experiences in Asia. Chitwan has over 43 different species of mammals as well as 450 different bird types. Expect to see numerous rhinos, deer, sloth bears, tiger, wild boar, rhesus monkeys, common langurs and gours (wild cattle) just to name a few. And a trip to the elephant breeding camp lets you get up close and personal with the babies and the adult elephants. Today, Chitwan is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
